Laura Sandys MP has been campaigning for a change to the EU quotas that have handcuffed our fisherman. Under EU rules they can only fish certain amounts of each type of fish, severely affecting their livelihood and the Thanet economy. This has led to a situation where they have to throw back dead fish that people want and they certainly could sell, because of the quota rules.
